Library Service Reminder
OhioLINK, SearchOhio, and InterLibrary Loan book requests are currently paused through Monday, June 23. The library catalog will be offline beginning Tuesday, June 3rd until our new catalog is available.
Library databases are not impacted by these service pauses.

We are excited to announce that as of May 1, 2022, requests for print materials from the OhioLINK Central Catalog and SearchOhio Catalog have resumed. OhioLINK recommends that students, faculty, and staff requesting items should plan for potentially longer delivery times in May while new and existing as delivery routines are being refined.

OhioLINK News • Requests Paused
OhioLINK Notice The Ohio Department of Administrative Services (DAS), The State Library of Ohio, and OhioLINK have come to agreement that it is necessary to change providers for the print delivery system across the State of Ohio. On March 11, 2022, requests for print materials from the OhioLINK Central Catalog and SearchOhio Catalog will be paused through the end of April 2022. This change will allow the statewide delivery locations to minimize the number of items that must be transferred between delivery service providers. Archer Library will be working to help users with other options for print materials that are available to users including Interlibrary Loan, book chapters through Interlibrary Loan, and options for users to utilize local OhioLINK libraries as visiting patrons. It is important to note that a higher volume of requests with alternative options is expected and may result in delivery delays. Just a reminder: the OhioLINK Central Catalog will be down for several hours starting at noon TOMORROW (7/7) for server migration. If you've got book requests on your to-do list, this might be the best time to do it!
Additional information is detailed on the OhioLINK web site:
The OhioLINK Central Catalog will be unavailable while planned maintenance is performed beginning at noon on Thursday, July 7. We expect the migration to a new server will be completed by the evening of the 7th. During this time you will not be able to search the central catalog or request items. Local library catalogs will remain available for searching.

OhioLINK Databases 11/29
Just a reminder as everyone goes off for your Thanksgiving holiday, all of OhioLINK central systems will be offline on Saturday, November 29, from 7 a.m. to hopefully no later than 4 p.m. This includes the central web server, the EJC, the EBC, the Central Catalog, the DMC and DRC, ETD, and the OSearch Databases. If you have direct links to databases at vendor sites such as EBSCO or OCLC, you should still be able to access those sites. - Anita Cook, OhioLINK

OhioLINK Remote Authentication
"Next week is a big week here at OhioLINK. On Tuesday, August 5, we will make significant changes to OhioLINK’s remote authentication system. This work should only take a day; however, complications are always a possibility. While the changes are being implemented, OhioLINK's services may be intermittent and remote authentication and proxy will be unavailable. The central catalog will not be affected and users can still access OhioLINK resources while on campus and through the libraries' proxies." - August 1, 2008
