Library Spotlight: Active Learning Lab

AU Library: Main Floor

It is exciting to see progress continue on the Bernice Fauber Baker Active Learning Lab, located on the main floor of Ashland University Library. The glass wall and entrance door are in place, making it easy to envision how this lab will enhance library instruction and services.

This construction project is funded by a donation from the Bernice Fauber Baker Library Endowment, with a matching gift from the Bob and Jan Archer Challenge Grant. The active learning equipment and furnishings are supported by a grant from the federal Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), awarded by the State Library of Ohio.

Phonics Scavenger Hunt

It's phonics scavenger hunt time!

Working on your scavenger hunt project?
Having trouble finding some of the items?

We are here to help! Ask in the IRC for assistance locating any items on your scavenger hunt activity.

Where is the IRC?

We are located on the second floor of Ashland University Library. Look for the Phonics Scavenger Hunt sign on the whiteboard outside our door. It's the same image on your Scavenger Hunt Library Guide.

Reserve a Time

Use this site to make your reservation for completing the activity. One person can reserve the time and bring two classmates.  Occupancy inside the IRC is limited to four people; the curriculum work area tables directly outside the IRC are limited to four people.

Phonics Library Guide

There is a library guide for EDEC 140: Phonics & English Language. It features scavenger hunt information, a link for reservations, and a survey to provide feedback.  We are excited to facilitate this activity.  Welcome to the IRC at Ashland University Library.
