Library Hours Update

Beginning Monday, August 1st, the following AU Library summer hours are in effect. Please note, the library is closed Sunday, July 31st.

• Monday through Friday - 8:00 am to 5:00 pm


• Saturday - Closed


• Sunday - Closed

IRC summer hours remain the same with lunch time closing from 1 pm - 2 pm. The Library's Fall 2011 hours schedule will begin on Wednesday, August 24th.

IRC Hours Update

Please note the following updates to the IRC summer hours schedule; the IRC will be closed Wednesday, July 20th through Friday, July 22nd.

Color printing and general IRC services such as laminating and the Ellison Machine are not available when the IRC is closed. Collection items housed in the IRC remain available, please stop at the library circulation desk, main floor, and ask for assistance.

The regular summer hours schedule for the IRC will resume on Monday, July 25th. A calendar with IRC hours updates is available on the IRC Hours & Updates page.

OhioLINK Catalog Access

The OhioLINK catalog will be unavailable beginning at noon today for server migration.  The AU library catalog remains in use, but users will not be able to request OhioLINK books or use the OhioLINK catalog until server migration is complete.  If you have questions, please call the circulation desk at x5400.

Just a reminder: the OhioLINK Central Catalog will be down for several hours starting at noon TOMORROW (7/7) for server migration. If you've got book requests on your to-do list, this might be the best time to do it!

Maintenance Alert: OhioLINK Library Catalog Unavailable Thursday, July 7

The OhioLINK Central Catalog will be unavailable while planned maintenance is performed beginning at noon on Thursday, July 7. We expect the migration to a new server will be completed by the evening of the 7th. During this time you will not be able to search the central catalog or request items. Local library catalogs will remain available for searching.

Juvenile Big Books

Juvenile big books are now easier than ever to locate in the stacks! Each title has a new call number beginning with BigBk and followed by a number; they are numerical on the hanging bar and each section labeled (BigBk 001 - BigBk 020) corresponding to the titles displayed.

The juvenile big book collection currently includes 137 titles, view the full collection using other call number and entering BigBk or search by title in the library catalog.
