IRC Circulating: Kits

The following kits have been added to the Instructional Resource Center circulating collection. Materials kits are located inside of the IRC, on right side/east wall, and shelved numerically; for ease of use, each shelve is labeled.

Roll Top Laminator

Out of Order! Out of Order!

The "big" roll-top laminator is currently out of order. A repair call has been placed and we hope to have it available soon.

Two desk top laminators are available for smaller jobs; keep in mind at $1.00 per sheet usage is expensive for larger projects.

IRC Hours Update

The IRC will close today, Monday, October 15th, at 6:00 pm. Regular operating hours will commence at 8:00 am Tuesday morning, October 16th.

Computers on the second floor will remain accessible for use; printing will not be available from any second floor computer.

IRC Website: Author Information

Seven new authors have been added to the IRC Author & Illustrator information page. "These pages are a series of online pathfinders; a starting point for resources on various children and young adult authors and illustrators. Included on each page is a listing of Ashland University library holdings on the specified author or illustrators, a sampling of articles available in library databases, and Internet resources." (IRC Author Page).


Newly featured children and young adult authors are:

One more author and/or illustrator will bring the page total to 125!

Audio books are shelved numerically with a call number designation of Audio Book.

An integral part of the juvenile collection, these titles were purchased with library funds from the Dean endowment for juvenile fiction. Sue Ellen Ronk, cataloging librarian, selects juvenile and young adult titles for this endowment.
