IRC Hours: Winter Break

The Instructional Resource Center will close at 5:00 pm on Friday, December 13th and remain closed through Sunday, January 5th, 2014.

IRC Hours Update: After Finals

IRC hours after finals are noted below. A complete listing of IRC hours updates is available on the IRC web site.


  • Tuesday, 12/10:  8:00 am to 5:00 pm
  • Wednesday, 12/11:  8:00 am to 5:00 pm
  • Thursday, 12/12:  8:00 am to 5:00 pm
  • Friday, 12/13:  8:00 am to 3:00 pm

The IRC will be closed daily from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm for lunch.

Finals Week: Quiet Spaces

Looking for a quiet space to study during finals?

AU Library has designated the 4th and 5th floors as quiet spaces during extended hours and finals week, December 1 - 10.

Study rooms and open study areas are available to students on both floors. If a computer is not available in the study room, outlets are present for personal computers.  Trouble with your computer? Stop at the circulation desk and check out a laptop.

IRC Pinterest & Thanksgiving Books

Visit the IRC Pinterest site and view the Thanksgiving board for a selection of seasonal themed fiction & nonfiction, picture books and early readers. All titles are part of the main juvenile collection located on the second floor of AU Library. Check availability by clicking the catalog link after each call number.



Looking for one of the new Thanksgiving? Remember, all new juvenile collection titles are initially shelved in the new book area, AU Library second floor.
