OhioLINK Database Changes

From What's new at OhioLINK, database changes beginning July 1, 2006:

"OhioLINK is constantly striving to provide the strongest portfolio of research resources possible, within our budgetary limitations, to support Ohio higher education’s teaching, learning and research needs. In order to better achieve this goal, the OhioLINK community has agreed to cancel some database subscriptions and use those funds to upgrade current subscriptions and subscribe to new databases beginning July 1, 2006. As a result of these changes, OhioLINK and its member libraries will be able to cost-effectively provide the community with more full-text resources across a broader array of disciplines."

Education Research Complete

EBSCOhost database Education Research Complete is now available through the library:
"Education Research Complete is the definitive online resource for education research. This massive file offers the world’s largest and most complete collection of full text education journals. Education Research Complete also covers areas of curriculum instruction as well as administration, policy, funding, and related social issues." - EBSCO

This database replaces Professional Development Collection and Education Abstracts.

Library Closing for Friday, July 14, 2006

The library will be closed from 12:45 pm to 3:00 pm on Friday, July 14, 2006 in observance of Dr. Clayton's memorial service taking place at the Chapel.

Regular summer hours will resume at 3:00 pm.
