Horn Book: 2012 Mind the Gap Awards

Horn Book Magazine released their annual "Mind the Gap Awards" featuring books that didn't win any major ALA awards (and maybe should have!). Here are a few highlights from the list; links will take you to the AU Library catalog ... enjoy.

Juvenile Big Books

The following big books have been added to the juvenile circulating collection. You will find them shelved / hanging directly behind the curriculum textbook collection on the library second floor outside of the Instructional Resource Center (IRC). Big books are presented in large hanging bags, both book and bag circulate.
